After I promise to love you forever
What happens to us if I fail?
I fear that my heart is a wavering thing and
I’m scared that your heart is frail

Do I give up and just let go
Or remain I don’t know
What does this say about me

I want to believe that a love is everlasting
Something that happens still
(But) what if I can’t sustain it forever but
Give you my word that I will

(What if I) give you my vow that I’ll love you forever
And then wish that I could be free
These are the things that I don’t know is it just me
